The Audi Quattro concept is ready for mass production! The car has already been seen out on the streets in near-road going trim, Audi has even released a promotional video showcasing the car.
despite its similar resemblance to Mitsubishi's concept RA vehicle, Audi's concept version revealed at the Paris Auto show in September was simply a visual experience, and a way of celebrating 30 years of Quattro.
powered by Audi's Jurassic 2.5-litre five cylinder engine as proposed, it's output is in the range of 300kW . The body is also made predominately of aluminium with the bonnet and boot lid made of carbon fibre. It also offers the same featherweight 1300kg mass as proposed, meaning the estimated 0-100km/h time of 3.9 seconds shouldn’t be too far off – if off at all.
Audi is very serious about using the Audi Quattro Concept , check out the promo video for a closer look.
